I have just completed my physical trip as part of the new ISU/QLU (Quality Leadership University) in Panama City, Panama. The MBA412 course I teach is the initial course in the dual MBA program. This was my first trip to Panama.
This accelerated course was both challenging and a great deal of fun for all involved! The students were among the best I have ever encountered and demonstrated great open-mindedness, an eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic. They also bonded very quickly as a cohort. I found being a part of this class a great deal of fun and an exceptional teaching experience. I feel fortunate to be part of such opportunities to make new friends from around the world.
On a personal note, eight members of my family joined Michel and I during the Internet-only week during our stay. We saw many wondrous and beautiful things that were new to us, including (1) the locks of Panama, (2) the rain forest, (3) Monkey Island, and (4) the Pearl Islands. Three of my adult children even caught their first Mahi-Mahi, that served as our exposure to cerviche. Very delicious! Panama is strongly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful place with friendly people and lot to do in the sun. We can’t wait to go back!
