Teaching a class

This website is created to support my activities as a scholar and educator at ISU. I have been a faculty member at ISU since 1992, the year I received my Ph.D. from Florida State University. Since arriving at ISU I have published close to 60 refereed journal articles in a multitude of outlets including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, British Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Service Management, and many others. Prior to entering academics I was a practicing business professional as a hospital laboratory technician, chemistry (drug screening) technician, pharmaceutical sales representative, and a hospital administrator. I served two tours of active military duty in the Navy, as an enlisted laboratory technician (1975-1979) and as a Medical Service Corps officer (1986-1989).

Among my many responsibilities at ISU I have also served for over 20 years as the Mentor for Students from underrepresented groups (see http://business.illinoisstate.edu/advising/mentoring/). I am also a long-term member of several Editorial Review Boards of well-known marketing journals. I welcome interaction with stakeholders of my professional practices at ISU. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. Have a great day! Thanks, Steve
